Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
7:00 AM: Depart Marrakech, drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) in the High Atlas.
Stop: Visit the Argan Oil Cooperative (see traditional production).
11:00 AM: Explore Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO-listed ksar, Game of Thrones filming location).
1:00 PM: Lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate.
2:30 PM: Visit Ouarzazate (optional: Atlas Studios or Taourirt Kasbah).
4:00 PM: Drive through the Valley of Roses (stop in Kelaat M’Gouna if in bloom).
6:30 PM: Arrive in Valle del Dades, dinner & overnight at a hotel with canyon views.
Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
8:00 AM: Drive through the Dades Gorge (photo stops at “Monkey Fingers” rock formations).
10:00 AM: Explore Todra Gorge (hike along the river or relax in the towering cliffs).
12:30 PM: Lunch in Tinjdad or Touroug.
2:30 PM: Drive to Merzouga, stopping at Erfoud (fossil workshops) or Rissani (market).
5:00 PM: Arrive in Merzouga, switch to camellos for a sunset trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes.
7:30 PM: Reach the desert camp (luxury tents with dinner, Berber music, and stargazing)
Day 3: Merzouga → Rissani → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate
5:30 AM: Optional sunrise climb on the dunes.
7:30 AM: Breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga by camel/4×4.
9:00 AM: Visit Khamlia village (Gnawa music performance) or a nomad family.
10:30 AM: Drive through the Valle del Draa (palm oases, ancient kasbahs).
1:00 PM: Lunch in Agdez or N’kob.
4:00 PM: Arrive in Ouarzazate, free time to explore.
Overnight: Hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 4: Ouarzazate → Telouet Kasbah → High Atlas → Marrakech
8:00 AM: Visit Telouet Kasbah (abandoned Glaoui palace).
10:00 AM: Cruzar el High Atlas, stopping at Berber villages.
12:30 PM: Optional lunch in Taddart or Asni.
2:00 PM: Short hike in Imlil Valley (views of Mount Toubkal).
4:30 PM: Arrive back in Marrakech, drop-off at your riad/hotel.
